What we do?
CCAV oversees the driverless car projects located in Greenwich, Bristol and Milton Keynes and Coventry and the winning projects from the Government's Intelligent Mobility competitiona. By 2020 we will have invested in excess of £100 million into ground breaking research and development of connected and autonomous vehicle technologies. As part of our long term objectives we will also support legislative change where necessary and work to strengthen the testing infrastructure in the UK and to guarantee the safety of connected and autonomous vehicle technologies.
